Have you ever been shocked by an electrical outlet?
@33MHz yes. 4-5 times. At least.
@33MHz A few times, not serious though.
@33MHz yes, once! it's no fun, then fun, and than no fun again. shock, relief, pain. the 3 stages of too much volts in your body.
@blumenkraft ha! I've most often been shocked when trying to unplug and the plug back in the electric clothes dryer. It was against a wall in a corner, and you had to reach your hand around behind without being able to see, and create leverage.
@33MHz this kind of things are forbidden in Germany. you can't get it like this here. if you want it, you'll need to stick a knife in the toaster. that's what i did. i was like 10ish.
@blumenkraft what's forbidden?
@33MHz acrobatic electro installations. ;)
@blumenkraft it's illegal to have recessed washer/dryers? [proxy.duckduckgo.com]
@33MHz nope. :)
you know you have HAL18000 in your basement, don't you? o.O
@blumenkraft that's just a random picture. It's not unusual for washer/dryers to be "in" somewhere, not out in an open room.
Where is @badenough on this thread?
@33MHz Define electrical outlet... Do light sockets, circuit breakers, and dry type transformers count?
@Badenough Let's say yes.
@33MHz Well I missed my chance for the poll but definitely more than three times. :P Only one serious accident though.
