@der_Jeff only have scallops at certain restaurants. I've overcooked them on the few occasions I've bought them from the fishmonger. They are a treat, though, as only lobster seems to be more expensive per kg here.
@der_Jeff calamari, followed by carbonara, followed by meringue with passion fruit cream with fresh raspberries and raspberry coulis. Fuelled by lard and sugar. :-)

@der_Jeff work still mental. Currently sat in a restaurant treating myself to a slap-up lunch to celebrate new part-time lectureship. Kiwi in NZ for 3 weeks so I'm Nora Nomates, being scowled at by other patrons for using my phone at the dinner table. ;-)
