I think I'm ready to re-binge Mindhunter. It should free me from my obsession about The Haunting of Hill House.
frozen fruits yum
Binged first five episodes two days ago (the ending of ep 5 gave me nightmares) then the rest yesterday. After the last sequence I cried a bit. Of sadness, but also of content. Weird, I know. And I'm still obsessed with all the implications of this story..
On a totally unrelated topic, yesterday I ate the worst tofu salad ever (taste and texture not far from wet cardboard), and the most overpriced mediocre cheesecake they could find. Why why why would they do that to me. So mean.
It's incredibly sad, it's so beautiful, so powerful and deep, it touches topics of grief and loss with a tone that's perfect for this series… Very high quality. Extremely well written, very good direction, and actors at the top of their game. Wow.
The Haunting of Hill House written + directed by Mike Flanagan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Haunting_of_Hill_House_(TV_series) Wow!!! Well, this is a TV series, but it's also the best haunted house movie ever. So much grief, fright, mourn, sadness…
But none of it matters: in the end the terms are ok, so I'm ok with it, despite wanting to slap this person. Let's just move on…
Today the boss and I were at a meeting with the accountant, to negotiate the terms of my lay off (economic, the company is closing soon). In the end I got what I wanted, but it was not a nice meeting. I thought the accountant was stupid… and she noticed.
And it has started. "A 56k user asks this?!" Le sigh...
I asked a question on Stack Overflow! Last time I did that was in May 2017, apparently. I also have the feeling I'm stuck because of a stupid detail, so the regulars will probably dismiss the question, or give me the stinky eye. It's going to be fun!
I've received my Böker! It's magnificent. And I also found my Spyderco, hidden under other stuff... Well, no problem, now I have two awesome pocket knives instead of one. Not going to complain.
Dude - Those iPad Pro devices are excellent!!!1! Imagine if they had external storage, access to files, multi windows and such! Me - Yeah, that's called a computer, and we already have those. Dude - … Me - … Dude - Ok bye
