@33MHz@kosso@jws I don't have time to read the article right now, but I'm happier after LASIK. Dryness was already a problem. It isn't worse now (just different). Blurry vision now is from dryness and that always goes away (so far).
@jeremycherfas I don’t even think it’s irrational. The potential downsides are fairly high for buying the small convenience of skipping the 5 min I spend handling contact lenses each day. @mandy@kosso@33MHz
@jws I used to do contacts, but got too dry for them about 30 years ago. I would love to have just one pair specs and contacts. Don’t care whether it is for screen or the rest. I currently have one for screen and one progressives.
@jeremycherfas Ah yeah. I could see having to deal with multiple flavors of glasses making Lasik more appealing. I’m not there yet. (And liable to get implanted lenses instead along with surgery for the really early cataracts I likely inherited.)
