I make Arachis, a pnut client for iOS
@runeranch will check it out! Thanks for reporting!
@33MHz @ludolphus That's exactly it for me! Can you make it core? I'm using me.rafaelcosta as a test! ;)
@33MHz @ludolphus I think so!
@33MHz @ludolphus Oh! That’d solve it!
@33MHz @ludolphus Also:
@33MHz @ludolphus Yeah, I think I'll go with a mixed approach! How do you like this?
@33MHz @ludolphus Same thing for Signal or other messengers.
@33MHz @ludolphus It could mislead other users... Cause it would be a Twitter entry saying that it is referring to user abcxyz and linking to user realdonaldtrump (in my example)
@33MHz @ludolphus I'm gonna put some safeguards against that on my side ;)
@33MHz @ludolphus Just a thought: a bad nehaviouring user might put a Twitter entry with no id (ok, ids would be optional). Username: abcxyz (for example) and url as "https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump " (for example)
@33MHz @ludolphus Implemented support for both strings and objects in Arachis ;)
@igmp_join I have something I can resort to (but it’s a direct competitor, I don’t want to go there). But in the mean time, I’ll just stay cool and shop around.
Quitting tomorrow... happy about it
@runeranch @33MHz here
@33MHz @ludolphus Hmm... I see! It would be a kind of “raw within raw” scenario!
@ludolphus @33MHz With that, each app (Or user) could input a URL, sure. But it wouldn’t work as well. Apps could have different URLs for the same service for example...
@33MHz @ludolphus The main thing I have with this is that today, in Arachis, if it sees a me.rafaelcosta.user.telegram raw, it already knows it's supposed to open a telegram.me/username url when tapped. With that, it'd be a little bit messy, no?
@33MHz @runeranch And it is _so_ fun to brick an Apple Watch. /s
@33MHz @ludolphus I get what you mean... something like this, right?
