I know I’m complaining to the wrong crowd but Deutsche Bahn needs to get its shit together with the trains around Mannheim. Particularly now that I live nearby and 75% of my connections route through there.
Good thing I like to book two hours of padding (minimum) into my travel before international flights. This morning I was informed 40 minutes before leaving that my first train stops a few stations shy of my connection in Mannheim.
Sitting in a moving truck is like wearing a giant backpack containing your life. A literal representation of that speech from Michael Clayton. One small difference, your backpack has an internal combustion engine and a driver.

Yesterday, I finished my last working day in Nürnberg.
There’s just me and one other passenger on this bus to Saarbrücken and he will probably drive the train of the next leg.
