@runeranch have you checked out printablescenery.com yet?

@Skematica Interesting. But very expensive only for a print I think?
Skematica Skematica
@runeranch idk but I've been looking a lot more at 3dp as a potential hobby to print out wargaming characters and one shot campaign sets. You inspired me a bit I guess :p

@Skematica Personally I will not be using my 3D Printer for character printing. The layer lines is to visible for my taste and lacks details. So figures I will still buy for the details and quality. But is good for scenery and other projects.

@runeranch yeah I've been hunting around and character quality isn't up to spec of me yet. Mostly sets and vessels like ships or something

@Skematica Bigger figures is another thing, feel it does better and you can fill the layers or polish the surface of the print layers.

@runeranch how do you go about polishing?
runeranch Rune Ranch
@Skematica Fine sandpaper or filler primer.

@runeranch ah the old paper I used on models when I was a kid. Mmm the smell of cement glue brings me back haha! Looking forward to getting a Prusa or Ender 3 at some point because seeing the kind of stuff possible to print is making me

@Skematica I'm happy with my CR-10s. It does a very good job. Bed leveling and finding a 100% flat surface is the biggest problem I feel.
